APPLICATION OF THE GUIDANCE

This "Guidance Relating to the Rules for the Classification of High Speed and Light Crafts" (hereafter called as the Guidance) is prepared with the intent of giving guidelines as to the treatment of the various provisions for items required the unified interpretations and items not specified in details in the Rules, and the requirements specified in the Guidance are to be applied, in principle, in addition to the various provi- sions in the Rules.

As to any technical modifications which can be regarded as equivalent to any requirements in the Guidance, their flexible application will be prop- erly considered.

APPLICATION OF "GUIDANCE RELATING TO THE RULES FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF HIGH SPEED AND LIGHT CRAFTS"

1. Unless expressly High Speed and 2015.

specified otherwise, the requirements in the Guidance apply to Light Craft, or Light Craft for which contracts for construction are signed on or after 1 July

to the rules for 2015 edition and their effective date are as follows;
